Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with long-term vision
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to secure buy-in and resources for 2026 initiatives
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions
- Manage a $50M innovation budget across 5-7 high-impact projects
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling narratives
- Mentor a team of 8-12 senior strategists and researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching successful future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy (patents, whitepapers)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
