Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with emerging 2026 market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen AI systems and quantum computing applications
- Drive sustainable technology initiatives targeting carbon-negative innovation
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present technology vision to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior engineers in future-focused development methodologies
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and adapt strategy accordingly
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field
- Proven track record scaling AI/quantum solutions from concept to commercialization
- Expertise in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Deep understanding of 2026 technology convergence points
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Q#, Qiskit)
