Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology adoption roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, AI governance, and climate-tech innovation
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, biotech integration)
- Partner with product teams to translate future-vision into technical specifications and MVPs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Build and manage an innovation ecosystem including startups, academia, and thought leaders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record executing future-focused initiatives (quantum/AI/climate-tech preferred)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Executive-level communication with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTE, MIT Horizon Scanning)
- Experience leading cross-continental R&D teams and managing innovation budgets >$5M
