Responsibilities
- Architect technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, integrating quantum computing, AI ethics frameworks, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 5-7 year commercialization potential
- Develop governance frameworks for emerging technologies including AI safety protocols and quantum-resistant cryptography
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI tracking and risk mitigation
- Partner with academic institutions and government labs on next-gen technology initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech roles (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Executive experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps with C-level stakeholders
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Experience with technology governance frameworks (IEEE, ISO, WEF)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strategic foresight certification preferred
