Responsibilities
- Design and execute the 2026 technology innovation strategy, aligning with market forecasts and emerging paradigms
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototypes for next-gen solutions (quantum applications, autonomous systems, biotech interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and board members, securing $50M+ in innovation funding
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for collaborative R&D
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of experimental innovation
- Report on KPIs: technology adoption rates, ROI on innovation portfolios, and patent filings
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching commercialized technologies with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in future technology applications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Experience leading global innovation teams across 3+ time zones
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
