Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead emerging tech adoption initiatives (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3)
- Conduct scenario planning for regulatory and geopolitical shifts in tech
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions with commercial viability
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members
- Manage a $2M innovation budget for experimental projects
- Mentor junior strategists in future-gazing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation consulting
- Proven experience with horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism (e.g., IEEE, HBR)
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (e.g., Trello, Miro, Tableau)
