Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ initiatives aligned with business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable tech) and assess commercial viability
- Design strategic frameworks for integrating next-gen technologies into existing ecosystems
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and implementing future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
