Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business growth targets
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, AR/VR, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to integrate future technologies into product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain relationships with technology startups, research institutions, and industry thought leaders
- Oversee technology innovation labs and pilot programs for emerging solutions
- Drive organizational adoption of agile methodologies for future-proof technology development
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with minimum 5 years in executive leadership roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, or biotech preferred)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation management
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and market trend analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation management
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and global innovation communities
