Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AI ethics, quantum applications, biotech integration)
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year implementation strategies
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through data-driven investment proposals
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Drive innovation through partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global tech consortiums
- Establish KPIs for measuring tech adoption impact by 2026
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching products with $50M+ revenue impact
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, etc.)
- Fluency in Mandarin, Spanish, or Arabic for global collaboration
