Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology adoption roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive tech impacts on financial services and healthcare sectors
- Partner with product teams to prototype next-gen interfaces using AR/VR and neural interfaces
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and industry consortiums
- Manage $2M+ R&D portfolio for emerging tech incubation
- Author thought leadership pieces published in MIT Tech Review and Wired
- Mentor junior futurists in speculative design methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (e.g., launched 3+ products)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurist Studies
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Delphi Method)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier tech publications
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Security clearance for federal tech initiatives (DOD/DoE preferred)
