Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, bioinformatics)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Design governance frameworks for ethical AI deployment and responsible innovation
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons, R&D initiatives, and thought leadership
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership, with 5+ years in future-tech domains
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or platforms
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, decentralized systems)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological scenarios
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Experience scaling tech initiatives across global markets
