Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-5 year strategic technology roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in emerging technologies including AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future technologies into core offerings
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Mentor technology teams on future-proofing methodologies and innovation frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products or services
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or biotech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley a plus)
- Certifications in strategic planning or emerging technologies (e.g., CTO, CIO) desirable
