Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026+ technology innovation roadmap, identifying breakthrough opportunities in quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies with $5M+ annual budgets
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members, securing alignment and resources
- Establish industry partnerships with leading research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) and global tech pioneers
- Monitor geopolitical tech policies and regulatory shifts to ensure compliance and strategic positioning
- Mentor emerging technology leaders through our Innovation Fellowship program
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property development for disruptive technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with measurable market impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI governance, or Web3 infrastructure
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets and managing P&L for innovation divisions
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, Wired, etc.)
- Certifications in technology foresight (e.g., WFS Foresight Practitioner) or innovation management
