Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess commercial viability for 2026 market entry
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with 5-year strategic objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor global patent landscapes and competitor technology portfolios
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal workshops and training programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong background in product development lifecycle from concept to launch
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- PhD or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business preferred
