Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and emerging innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Analyze patent landscapes and competitor strategies to identify disruptive opportunities
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and strategic partnerships
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Proven track record of launching market-defining tech products
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Fluency in Mandarin or Japanese for global collaboration
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ future-tech commercialization cases
