- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026-2030 commercialization potential
- Design strategic partnerships with startups, research institutions, and technology vendors
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of futurists and technologists
- Quantify ROI and risk metrics for technology investments
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching successful tech products/services with $50M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, blockchain, AR/VR, and biotech convergence
- Strategic consulting background (McKinsey, BCG, or Big 4 preferred)
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- Fluency in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
