Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech fusion, decentralized systems) for strategic adoption
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for disruptive technology impacts across industries
- Partner with venture capital arm to scout and incubate breakthrough startups
- Present strategic recommendations to board of directors and CTO council
- Manage $30M annual innovation portfolio with ROI tracking frameworks
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI governance, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Strategy
- Strong proficiency in scenario modeling and technology forecasting tools
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation teams
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Security clearance or ability to obtain for classified projects
