Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, focusing on AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate emerging technologies with real-world applications
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Champion innovation culture through internal hackathons and technology scouting programs
- Oversee budget allocation for future-tech R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record in developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two emerging fields: AI, blockchain, AR/VR, or quantum computing
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from Institute of the Future)
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and $5M+ innovation budgets
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry conferences
