Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with 5-year horizon planning
- Lead market research and competitive analysis in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-tech capabilities into core offerings
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board of directors quarterly
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Build and mentor a cross-functional future-tech task force
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Author thought leadership publications on technology disruption trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product management, or corporate innovation
- Proven experience developing 3+ year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong financial modeling skills with experience in innovation portfolio management
- Executive presence with ability to influence C-suite and external stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology or business strategy (blog, whitepapers, etc.)
- Experience managing innovation budgets >$3M with measurable ROI
