Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections and organizational goals
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) with transformative potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to build consensus on technology adoption priorities
- Create financial models and ROI projections for emerging tech investments
- Author strategic briefs for executive leadership and board members
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future technology concepts
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting tech ecosystems
- Represent the company at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or consulting
- Proven track record of developing future-focused roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, IoT, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Credibility with executive stakeholders and board members
- Published thought leadership in tech strategy or futurism
- Experience working with agile development methodologies
