Responsibilities
- Architect and execute technology roadmaps spanning 2026-2030, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Develop scenario-based strategic models for technological disruption and competitive positioning
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the Board of Directors with data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer next-gen solutions
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies and long-term tech adoption strategies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years focused on horizon scanning and futures analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, or climate-tech
- Proven track record of translating complex tech trends into executable business strategies
- Executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Futures Studies, or MBA with tech specialization
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or Foresight Practitioner)
