Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Present strategic briefings to executive board and investors on future market opportunities
- Establish KPI frameworks for innovation initiatives with $50M+ annual R&D budget
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Conduct scenario planning for geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption
- Mentor senior engineers and product leads on future-proofing technical architectures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in C-suite or VP-level roles
- Proven track record of launching successful future-tech initiatives ($100M+ impact)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Deep expertise in emerging tech trends: generative AI, quantum computing, Web3, AR/VR
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Certifications in strategic planning (e.g., TOGAF, PMI-SP) preferred
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (IEEE, TechCrunch, etc.)
