Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AI, Web3) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions through agile methodologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and thought leadership initiatives
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two futuristic domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional strategic planning and scenario modeling capabilities
- Certified Innovation Professional (CIP) or equivalent preferred
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
