Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, neurointerfaces, climate tech) through 2026
- Lead cross-functional R&D sprints translating theoretical concepts into market-ready prototypes
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses of global tech trends and regulatory impacts
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies protecting breakthrough innovations
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives and investor narratives
- Mentor interdisciplinary teams in agile innovation methodologies and ethical tech deployment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with proven productization of emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Portfolio demonstrating successful commercialization of experimental technologies
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks and technology impact assessment tools
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding or government innovation grants
