In this pivotal role, you will define the technical vision for our core research infrastructure, leading a team of elite data scientists and engineers. You will bridge the gap between theoretical research and production-grade systems, ensuring our AI solutions are robust, efficient, and transformative.
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the development of scalable, high-performance neural network infrastructure for AGI applications.
- Define and implement technical roadmaps for model training, fine-tuning, and deployment pipelines.
- Mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into complex enterprise solutions.
- Optimize model inference speeds and reduce computational costs without sacrificing accuracy.
- Stay at the forefront of AI research, evaluating and integrating cutting-edge methodologies (e.g., Transformer architectures, RLHF).
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior architect role.
- Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Ray, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of deploying large-scale machine learning models to production environments.
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and reinforcement learning concepts.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
