Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational goals
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, bio-AI, Web4.0)
- Lead innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners to identify 2026 use cases
- Author thought leadership papers on ethical AI and sustainable tech adoption
- Manage R&D partnerships with university labs and tech incubators
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members quarterly
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and technologists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record in developing future-forward tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or decentralized systems
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or MIT Technology Review
- Experience advising C-suite on digital transformation initiatives
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Strong network with venture capital and innovation ecosystems
