Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026 technology roadmap including AI ethics frameworks and quantum computing integration
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year market potential
- Develop cross-functional innovation initiatives spanning R&D, product, and policy teams
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with measurable ROI tracking
- Mentor junior strategists and publish thought leadership in top industry journals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum, biotech, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience with technology roadmapping and scenario planning methodologies

- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
