Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, generative AI, biotech) and assess commercial viability for 2026+ market readiness
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps integrating sustainability, ethical AI, and human-centered design principles
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align engineering, marketing, and product teams on future tech adoption
- Produce strategic briefings for C-suite on disruption risks and opportunities in next-gen tech ecosystems
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups to access cutting-edge research
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting technology deployment timelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or product development with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing, or decentralized AI
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented initiatives (patents, published research, or product launches)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting complex scenarios to non-technical stakeholders
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies (UN SDGs, IEEE standards)
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, horizon scanning)
