Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and regulatory shifts
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated AI, etc.)
- Architect strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board members with actionable recommendations
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused portfolio allocation
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology assessment frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation
- Proven track record of forecasting technology adoption with 85%+ accuracy
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, neurotech)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile/scrum environments
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting (Forrester, Gartner, etc.)
