Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 horizon
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and synthetic biology
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech innovation with business objectives
- Manage $10M+ innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI assessments
- Build and lead cross-functional teams of PhD researchers and engineers
- Present findings to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Drive patent development and IP strategy for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Biotechnology
- Proven track record launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or CRISPR tech
- Experience securing federal grants and DARPA partnerships
- Published author in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
