- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends with market impact potential >$1B
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven narratives
- Mentor junior futurists through our Innovation Accelerator Program
- Secure patents and publish whitepapers in top-tier journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's with exceptional experience)
- 8+ years in R&D with 3+ years in strategic technology planning
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals preferred
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Track record of launching technologies with >$100M market impact
- Strong network within DARPA, IEEE, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
