Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and regulatory landscapes
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web3.0) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global tech consortia
- Present technology foresight briefings to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Drive R&D budget allocation for next-generation innovation initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Mentor internal talent in future-tech literacy and strategic thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate innovation, R&D leadership, or tech strategy
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives (2018-2025)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging technology domains
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-continental teams
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTR, CFP)
