Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) with 3-5 year commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across all business units
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and testing next-gen solutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess regulatory implications
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and measure ROI on R&D investments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AR/VR, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures forecasting methodologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for innovation portfolio management
- PhD or Master's in relevant STEM field or equivalent experience
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism
