Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption across enterprise divisions
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate future solutions
- Present executive-level insights to guide R&D investment priorities
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory impacts on future tech
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in emerging tech frameworks (Gartner Hype Cycle, Porter's Five Forces)
- Strong data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Certification in Agile/Scrum or similar methodology
- Experience securing $10M+ in technology innovation funding
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry forums
