Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, sustainable energy) to develop strategic 2026-2030 roadmaps
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups, academic research, and patent landscapes for acquisition/partnership opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams with strategic business objectives
- Present technology foresight reports to executive leadership and board members
- Develop competitive intelligence frameworks for emerging tech sectors
- Build relationships with leading research institutions and industry consortia
- Design innovation incubation programs for internal R&D teams
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or venture capital with focus on emerging tech
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or next-gen cybersecurity
- Proven track record of developing technology roadmaps that drive business growth
- Strong network within global tech research ecosystems (MIT, Stanford, IBM Research, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or strategy
