Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for emerging technology adoption across industries
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies to implement future-ready technological solutions
- Present strategic visions to C-level executives and investor groups
- Manage a $5M innovation budget with quarterly ROI reporting
- Mentor a team of 15+ researchers and engineers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AR/VR
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and securing funding
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
