Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology adoption roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align engineering, product, and business teams
- Author strategic white papers and market analyses for C-suite stakeholders
- Partner with venture capital arms to evaluate emerging startups and partnerships
- Represent company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation incubator
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotechnology
- Proven track record of launching technology-forward products or services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in tech or business publications
- Experience with agile methodologies and cross-cultural collaboration
