Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry predictions and societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum applications, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for future-tech research
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to identify disruptive technologies before market adoption
- Create frameworks for ethical implementation of emerging technologies (AI governance, bioethics)
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Mentor junior innovators through our Future Leaders incubation program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI development, or climate engineering
- Track record of launching products/services with 5+ year market foresight
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in peer-reviewed journals on technology forecasting
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-tech implementations
