Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and decentralized systems
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future technologies into product roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to investors and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Manage a portfolio of innovation projects with $5M+ annual budget
- Build and mentor a team of 8-12 futurist researchers and technologists
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with 5+ years at executive level
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in emerging tech domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with specialization in futurism
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategies
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 50+ members
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management preferred
