Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, neural interfaces, and decentralized AI systems
- Partner with C-suite to align emerging tech investments with 10-year business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (AR/VR, blockchain, bio-digital interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive threats/opportunities across 15+ emerging domains
- Develop frameworks for ethical AI governance and human-centric technology adoption
- Present strategic insights to Fortune 500 clients and international policy forums
- Drive patent development for proprietary technologies with $50M+ market potential
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- Expertise in at least 3 future domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record scaling technologies from R&D to commercial deployment
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Fluency in technical implementation and C-level executive communication
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technologies deployed at enterprise scale
