Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market readiness
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, neural interfaces)
- Design innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and scalable technology adoption
- Partner with product teams to integrate futuristic solutions into current ecosystems
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Manage portfolio of pilot projects with $5M+ annual innovation budget
- Build and lead a specialized future technologies task force
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy with 3+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record in scaling AI/quantum solutions from concept to production
- Deep expertise in scenario planning and technological forecasting methodologies
- Executive-level experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futurism
- Proficiency in innovation frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
