Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic technology frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Build and manage a global network of academic, startup, and industry partnerships
- Quantify ROI and risk metrics for experimental technology investments
- Mentor a team of technology futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MBA with tech specialization
- 12+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum systems, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, INSEAD)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry forums
