Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams with C-suite innovation priorities
- Produce competitive intelligence reports on emerging tech ecosystems (Web4, biotech fusion, etc.)
- Manage $2M+ R&D budgets for experimental technology incubation projects
- Present strategic briefings to board members and government innovation councils
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on 2020+ tech adoption cycles
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, AI governance, or neurotech
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent strategic foresight credential
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature Futures journal
- Experience scaling tech ventures from prototype to enterprise deployment
- MBA/MS in Technology Management or equivalent analytical degree
- Portfolio demonstrating technology roadmaps with 85%+ accuracy on market timing
