Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields (quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Analyze global tech trends to inform product innovation pipelines
- Present strategic vision to investors and board members
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies and future-proofing
- Oversee $15M+ annual technology innovation budget
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling tech ventures (3+ exits or IPOs)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, biotech, blockchain)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight certification preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Experience with global tech ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin)
- Strong financial modeling for tech venture valuation
