Responsibilities
- Architect strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, neuro interfaces, and sustainable AI systems
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to develop prototype technologies targeting 2026 market readiness
- Analyze global tech trends and regulatory landscapes to inform innovation strategies
- Present visionary concepts to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for future technology incubation projects
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Develop ethical frameworks for next-generation autonomous systems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies
- Proven track record of launching commercialized future-tech solutions
- Expertise in quantum computing, neurotech, or climate-tech domains
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Certification in AI Ethics and Responsible Innovation (e.g., IEEE P7000)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Q# preferred)
