Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum computing, AR/VR, neural interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Architect scalable frameworks for ethical AI implementation and digital governance
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for pilot programs and R&D initiatives
- Partner with academic institutions and government labs on collaborative research
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years in technology strategy or emerging tech product development
- Proven experience with futures methodology and scenario planning
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Demonstrated success leading cross-disciplinary teams in ambiguous environments
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
