Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps for 2026
- Lead cross-functional innovation initiatives bridging R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Identify market gaps and disruption opportunities through competitive intelligence and trend forecasting
- Present strategic technology recommendations to executive leadership and investors
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven project prioritization
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups
- Develop patent portfolios and IP protection strategies for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; PhD preferred
- 12+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Strong executive presence with board-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in technology or business innovation
