Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and advanced robotics
- Develop and prototype next-generation algorithms for autonomous decision-making systems
- Secure $1M+ in annual research funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Translate theoretical research into commercial applications with our engineering teams
- Represent InnovateX at global technology forums and policy discussions
- Drive ethical frameworks for emerging technologies before 2026 deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum machine learning or neuromorphic computing systems
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with experience in TensorFlow/PyTorch frameworks
- Demonstrated success in securing NSF or DARPA grants
- Strong background in ethics of emerging technologies (AGI, quantum security)
- Experience with large-scale distributed computing environments
