Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neural interfaces, autonomous systems)
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping and scaling experimental technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive trends and evaluate market readiness
- Secure and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Drive innovation through agile development methodologies and rapid prototyping
- Present technological visions to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech or R&D
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough innovations
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotechnology, or advanced robotics
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Published research or patents in relevant technological domains
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Certification in emerging technology frameworks (e.g., IEEE Foresight, Gartner Hype Cycle)
