Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmap with 18-month implementation milestones
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum-resistant cryptography and AI governance frameworks
- Partner with C-suite to align tech strategy with business objectives and market trends
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget across 3-4 strategic verticals
- Present strategic vision to investors and industry thought leaders
- Mentor cross-functional teams on emerging technology adoption
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape mapping
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 startup experience
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, Web3, or sustainable tech
- Proven track record of launching tech products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or similar peer-reviewed venues
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python preferred)
- Experience with federal grant applications and DARPA programs
